Learning Objectives

At the end of the training, the participants will have learned about

  • 2030 Agenda and its core principles (universality, leave no one behind, integrated approach, shared responsibility of all relevant stakeholders, accountability)
  • Implementation of 2030 Agenda in and by Germany as a frontrunner for sustainability policy
  • Implementation resources such as the mobilisation of financing and multi-stakeholder partnerships
  • Contribution of the German development cooperation work for the implementation of 2030 Agenda and the SDGs in the partner countries
  • Reflecting on your contribution to the transformation in terms of the 2030 Agenda

Who should attend this training?

You are a project worker or team leader working either inland or aboard, a programme designer, a specialist consultant, a specialist partner, a development assistant, an integrated specialist or external individual who is interested in this topic.

Training approach

  • Innovative and interactive approach: participants apply the 6 phases of the Design Thinking Process to the 2030 Agenda´s core principles
  • Key inputs: experts from related sector programmes and other relevant GIZ-units inform about 2030 Agenda implementation and discuss with participants
